Thursday, 10th September 2020, TOTAL Uganda Limited unveiled a new office campus and depot upgrades just a day after celebrating another milestone of reaching 200 Service Stations on the network in Uganda at an event held at the Head Office on 8th Street Industrial Area. The new Office Campus was commissioned by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, Hon. Mary Goretti Kitutu, she congratulated TOTAL upon reaching yet another milestone.
On Wednesday, 9th September 2020, Total Uganda Limited celebrated its 200th station milestone to cement its commitment to extending access to its high-quality petroleum products and services across the country.
The event held at the TOTAL Ndeeba Mbawo was officiated by Mr. Kasande Robert - Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Energy, Obi IMEMBA the Managing Director, TOTAL Uganda, Stephen Kaboyo Advisory Board Member, and Carol Katungi the Retail & Marketing Manager.
On Wednesday, 12th August 2020, at the TOTAL Uganda Limited Head Office on 8th Street, Industrial Area, Safe Way Right Way in partnership with TOTAL Uganda launched the third edition of the annual Professional Driver Training project at a ceremony presided over by the Minister of Works and Transport represented by the Director of Transport, Eng. Benon Kajuna.
On 3rd August 2020, the 2019 edition of the TOTAL DISTRIBUTOR CHALLENGE came to a jubilant conclusion at an award ceremony where four finalists walked away with prizes, the ceremony was held at the former Gapco Depot on 7th Street Industrial Area. The Lubricants Distributors Challenge was launched in a bid to support and reward our distributors across the country.
Whilst Total Uganda's acquisition of all GAPCO assets was initiated in 2017, the merger of the two entities was finalized on 1st July 2020 upon the Government of Uganda's issuance of a Certificate of Amalgamation.
On the morning of Monday 29th April 2019 the group CEO, Mr. Patrick POUYANNÉ accompanied by VP of Total E&P Africa, Mr. Guy MAURICE, visited Uganda. The intent of the visit was to meet the Ugandan President, but first the duo spent time meeting staff of both Total E&P and MS Uganda.
